Ingredients

  • Sugar
  • Brown Sugar
  • Butter
  • Milk
  • Egg
  • All-purpose Flour
  • Baking Powder
  • Ground Ginger
  • Baking Soda
  • Dried Cranberries
  • Pecans
  • Crystallized Ginger
  • Powdered Sugar

Instructions

  1. Heat oven to 375f lightly grease cookie sheets
  2. Combine sugar, brown sugar and butter in large mixer bowl
  3. Beat on medium speed until well mixed
  4. Add milk and egg
  5. Beat until smooth
  6. Add flour, baking powder, ground ginger and baking soda
  7. Beat on low speed until well mixed
  8. Gently stir in cranberries, pecans and crystallized ginger
  9. Drop dough by rounded teaspoonfuls 2 inches apart onto greased cookie sheet
  10. Bake for 9 to 12 minutes or until edges are light golden brown
  11. Immediately remove from cookie sheet
  12. Cool on wire rack
  13. Combine powdered sugar and enough milk for desired glaze consistency in small bowl
  14. Mix well
  15. Spread glaze on cooled cookies
