What a delicious focaccia this is – the taste is so wonderful with the cranberries, i hope you enjoy it as much as we did –

Ingredients

  • Warm Water
  • Sugar
  • Quick-rising Yeast
  • Carnation Evaporated Milk
  • Butter
  • Brown Sugar
  • Salt
  • Vanilla Extract
  • Cinnamon
  • White Flour
  • Dried Cranberries
  • Coarse Sugar

Instructions

  1. Dough: combine warm water and sugar in a large bowl
  2. Sprinkle yeast over mixture
  3. Let stand until foamy, about 10 minutes
  4. Stir in next 7 ingredients
  5. Add 2 1 / 2 cups flour, stirring to combine
  6. Stir in additional flour a bit at a time to make a soft dough
  7. Knead 10 minutes by hand on a lightly floured surface or 5 minutes in a mixer on low speed
  8. Place dough in a lightly buttered or oiled large bowl
  9. Cover bowl with plastic wrap amnd let rise until doubled in volume, about 1 hour
  10. Punch dough down on a lightly floured surface
  11. Knead in cranberries
  12. Shape into a flat round about 8-inches in diameter
  13. Place on a parhment-lined baking sheet
  14. Cover lightly with plastic wrap
  15. Let rise until doubled, about 45 minutes
  16. Preheat oven to 375f
  17. Topping: gently brush with melted butter and sprinkle with coarse sugar
  18. Bake in preheated oven for 40-45 minutes, or until golden
  19. Remove from baking sheet and cool on a wire rack
  20. If you are not serving right away, wrap focaccia well in foil and freeze in a plastic freezer bag
  21. When ready to serve, defrost on counter,
  22. Place in preheated 375f oven for 8-10 minutes, or until warm
