Chicken With Baby Portabella Cream Sauce

This is a great recipe for when you need to get something together quick, but don't want it to taste like it wasn't any trouble. I usually serve it alongside a brown and wild rice combo.

This is a great recipe for when you need to get something together quick, but don't want it to taste like it wasn't any trouble. I usually serve it alongside a brown and wild rice combo.

Ingredients

  • Boneless Skinless Chicken Breasts
  • Butter
  • Baby Portabella Mushrooms
  • Garlic Powder
  • Paprika
  • Condensed Golden Mushroom Soup
  • Heavy Cream

Instructions

  1. In a large skillet, melt 2 t
  2. Butter and saute chicken breasts until browned on each side
  3. Remove from pan
  4. To pan juices, add 2 t
  5. Butter and melt
  6. Add sliced mushrooms and cook until soft, about 10 minutes, stirring occasionally
  7. Add garlic powder and paprika
  8. Stir
  9. Cook for an additional 2 miniutes
  10. Pour in can of soup and combine, then add heavy cream and stir to combine
  11. Return chicken to pan
  12. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat
  13. Cover and simmer on low heat for 10 minutes
  14. Remove from heat and serve
