Description
While i thought these tasted great, i had trouble convincing others to try them. If you can get past the blue color, they are a wonderful and relatively healthy treat. If you use non-dairy margarine instead of butter, they are dairy-free.
Ingredients
- Quick Oats
- Flour
- Sugar
- Salt
- Baking Powder
- Nutmeg
- Butter
- Applesauce
- Egg
- Orange Juice
- Vanilla
- Frozen Blueberries
Instructions
- Combine the oats, flour, sugar, salt, baking powder and nutmeg
- Mix well
- Mix in butter until crumbly
- In a separate bowl, beat the egg and then mix in orange juice and vanilla
- Combine the two mixtures and blend
- Drain the blueberries and combine with mix
- Put batter in a greased pan
- Brush the topc with the melted butter and top with sugar
- Bake at 375 for 20-25 minutes or until browned on top
