Ingredients

  • Beef Chuck
  • Flour
  • Paprika
  • Chili Powder
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • Vegetable Oil
  • Tomatoes
  • Carrots
  • Water
  • Onion
  • Celery
  • Mostaccioli Pasta

Instructions

  1. Coat meat with a mixture of the flour, paprika, chili powder and 1 1 / 2 teaspoons salt, and pepper
  2. In skillet, brown meat in oil
  3. Stir in tomatoes
  4. Add carrots
  5. Cover and cook over low heat for 30 minutes
  6. Add water, onion, celery, mostacciola and the 1 / 2 teaspoon salt
  7. Bring to boiling
  8. Pour into a 3-quart casserole
  9. Cover
  10. Bake in a 350f oven, stirring occasionally for 1 hour or until vegetables and meat are tender
