This looks like a tasty alternative to traditional devilled eggs. A great appetizer for any get-together.

Ingredients

  • Eggs
  • Mayonnaise
  • Green Onions
  • Sun-dried Tomatoes Packed In Oil
  • Fresh Basil

Instructions

  1. Place eggs in a single layer in a large saucepan
  2. Add cold water, filling the pan to 1 inch above eggs
  3. Cover
  4. Bring to a boil over hight heat
  5. Remove pot from heat and let stand, covered, until the eggs are hard-boiled, about 15 minutes
  6. Place eggs under cold running water
  7. Peel eggs
  8. Cut in half
  9. Using a spoon, remove yolks
  10. In a blender, combine yolks,, mayonnaise, green onion, sun-dried tomato and 1 tbsp basil
  11. Process until smooth, about 7 seconds
  12. Spoon the filling into a pastry bag with a large star
  13. Pipe filling into egg white halves
  14. Garnish with remaining basil
