A very tasty stir-fry for busy week-nights, or anytime. Quick and easy to prepare, and the sauce is so yummy! Serve over rice or chow mein noodles. From louis rich. Note: you can easily substitute chicken, shrimp, or leftover pork or beef (or a combination) for the fresh turkey breast. Enjoy!

Ingredients

  • Turkey Breast
  • Bok Choy
  • Sliced Water Chestnuts
  • Fresh Mushrooms
  • Green Onions
  • Oil
  • Chicken Broth
  • Soy Sauce
  • Dry Sherry
  • Cornstarch
  • Garlic Powder
  • Ground Ginger

Instructions

  1. Cut chicken or turkey into 1 / 4-inch strips
  2. Slice bok choy, mushrooms and onions
  3. Heat oil in wok or dutch oven on medium-high for 2-3 minutes
  4. Add turkey
  5. Stir fry 3-5 minutes until turkey turns white and begins to brown
  6. Remove to plate
  7. Add vegetables to wok
  8. Stir fry 4-5 minutes
  9. Combine sauce ingredients
  10. Pour over vegetables
  11. Add turkey
  12. Heat 2-3 minutes more stirring constantly until thickened
  13. Serve over rice or chow mein noodles
  14. 6 servings
