An unusual, creamy shrimp appetizer, with a little crunch, that isn't like any gelatine you've ever eaten! One pound of shimp serves 20-30 people, so this is an inexpensive way to treat your party guests to shrimp! It's always a favorite. If you make several molds and have one left after a party, it will keep for up to 3 days.

Ingredients

  • Unflavored Gelatin
  • Water
  • Cream Cheese
  • Thousand Island Dressing
  • Old Bay Seasoning
  • Lemon Juice
  • Worcestershire Sauce
  • Onions
  • Red Pepper
  • Green Bell Pepper
  • Shrimp
  • Celery

Instructions

  1. Grease a 1-quart gelatin mold or several smaller molds
  2. In top of double boiler, place gelatin, water and cream cheese
  3. Heat until melted
  4. Mix well, remove from heat and cool slightly
  5. Add all remaining ingredients and mix well
  6. Pour into prepared mold and refrigerate until set
  7. To serve, unmold onto a bed of lettuce
  8. Serve with crackers
