From really old cookbook. Old way of doing sandwiches in hot dog buns. They used to freeze these and pull them out as needed. You can grind filling in a food processor.
Ingredients
- Ham
- Cheddar Cheese
- Onion
- Pickle Relish
- Mayonnaise
- Hot Dog Buns
Instructions
- Grind ham, cheese, onion, and pickle
- Add enough mayonnaise to moisten, and some pickle juice
- Spread on buns put under broiler until cheese starts to bubble, 5 minutes
- I have seen these wrapped in foil paper and baked
- They freeze these and bake them
- Recipe said 350 degrees fahrenheit for 50 minutes or until cheese melts
